Image Cropper

Crop an image to the part you want, free or in proportions, square or round, in your browser

Drop an image here

Or choose one: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, SVG, HEIC; it's cropped in your browser and never uploaded

The part is cut from the image at its full size. Photos are turned upright as the camera took them, and the camera's data (date, place, device) isn't kept in the file written.

How to crop an image

  1. Drop an image on the page or choose it: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, SVG or HEIC.
  2. Turn or mirror it if needed, and pick a proportion (1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and more) or crop freely.
  3. Move and resize the box by dragging it or its handles, or type its position and size; choose a round crop for profile pictures.
  4. Pick the format and download the cropped image.

Questions

Can I crop an image into a circle?

Yes, choose round: the image is saved as a PNG, see-through outside the circle, ready for a profile picture.

Does cropping lower the quality?

No, the part is cut from the image at its full size; nothing is resized.

Can I crop to an exact size?

Yes, type the box's position and size in pixels, or nudge it with the arrow keys.

Is my image uploaded?

No. It's cropped by your browser, on your device; the camera's data (date, place, device) isn't kept in the file written.
