Merge PDF
Combine PDF files into one, in the order you want, with the pages you pick, in your browser
Drop PDF files here
Or choose them, they're merged in your browser and never uploaded
Pages are copied as they are, with their text, images and links. Bookmarks (the outline) aren't kept, and fillable form fields may stop working in the merged file.
How to merge PDF files
- Drop your PDF files on the page or choose them, up to 50 at once.
- Put them in the order you want by dragging them or with their arrow buttons.
- To keep only some pages of a file, type them, e.g. 1-3, 7, 10- (10- means from page 10 to the end).
- Name the merged file and select Merge and download.
Questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. The files are merged by your browser, on your device; nothing is sent to a server, so confidential documents stay private.
Is it free, with a watermark or a limit?
It's free, with no sign-up and no watermark added. You can merge up to 50 files at a time; how large they can be depends only on your device's memory.
Can I merge PDFs that are password protected?
Yes. A PDF that needs a password to open asks for it in its row. A PDF that only restricts printing or copying opens as PDF viewers open it, and the merged file doesn't keep those restrictions.
What is kept in the merged PDF?
The pages are copied as they are, with their text, images and links. Bookmarks (the outline) aren't kept, and fillable form fields may stop working in the merged file.
Can I print the merged PDF on both sides?
Yes: a blank page can be added after each file with an odd number of pages, so every file starts on the front of a sheet.
